Enterosgel

Enterosgel® is a medical device that binds and supports the removal of harmful and toxic substances, allergens and by-products of metabolism. This tasteless detoxifying gel is based on an organic mineral with high adsorption capacity towards toxic and harmful substances in the gut. It has a high safety profile, not being absorbed by the body, and is eliminated along with the bound harmful substances.

How does Enterosgel® work?

Enterosgel® is a gentle and safe product that acts as a "sponge cleaner" within the gastric tract. As Enterosgel® passes through the body it specifically binds with toxins, pollutants, and other unwanted or harmful substances in the gut before being excreted from the body via the stool. Enterosgel® is indigestible, which means that it leaves the body intact without absorbing important bacteria, vitamins or nutrients!

How long does it take for Enterosgel® to work?

This can vary from person to person, with benefits of reduced stool frequency and diarrhoea experienced within as little as several hours. Typical results from taking Enterosgel® are seen within 12-24 hours.

Why detox support?

An important step on the road to recovery, optimal health and long life is detoxification - the removal of harmful substances from the digestive tract. Each of us should support our detoxification from time to time. We routinely inhale harmful substances from the air and consume them in our food. The body also produces an increased amount of waste products during excess stress, illness, pregnancy, sport, smoking or consumption of alcohol. A majority of the bodys resources are therefore focused on detoxification and not on fighting against causes of illness. Detoxification supports overall health and good digestion, increased resistance to bugs, and helps the body to function optimally.

Ingredients

Composition:
Polymethylsiloxane polyhydrate 70%
Purified water 30%
Does not contain: Preservatives, sugar, gluten, fat, colouring, lactose, flavours and sweeteners; suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Recommended intake

Adults and children over 15: 15 g three times a day (15 g = 1 tablespoon).
Children aged 7-14: 10 g three times a day (10 g = 2 teaspoons).
Children aged 1-6: 5 g three times a day (5 g = 1 teaspoon).

• Wash down with a sufficient amount of fluid (i.e. adults and children 7+yrs = 200 mls; children aged 1-6 yrs = 50-100 ml).
  
• A sufficient intake of fluids is also necessary as part of the basic treatment of acute diarrhoea.
  
• Shake well before opening.
  
• Use this product within 30 days of opening the tube.
  
• Shelf life is 3 years from the date of manufacture. Do not freeze.

Cautions

Enterosgel cannot be taken by people who have the following:

• Intestinal atony (severe constipation due to bowel obstruction)
  
• Intestinal obstruction
  
• Intolerance (based on prior use)
  
• Enterosgel must be taken 1- 2 hours away from medication, supplements, herbal extracts and food.
  
• In some people, constipation may occur. For those who are prone to constipation it is recommended to wash Enterosgel down with plenty of water with a high content of magnesium. Also fruits such as figs, dates, pear and kiwi can be encouraged to minimise constipation in these individuals. Also, if concerned reduce the dose to 1/3 or 1/2 of the normal age related dose and gradually increase the dose based on bowel tolerance.
  
• Vomiting and nausea may also be possible however there have been no reports about any other side effects within 20 years of Enterosgel use.
  
• If pregnant, nursing or taking medications, consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use.
  
• Store in a cool dry place.
  
• Do not use if safety seal is broken or missing.
  
• Keep out of reach of children.
  
• Always read the label and use as directed. If symptoms persist see your healthcare practitioner.
