Nutritious Wild Wakame adds unique, subtle umami flavour. Can be used as any green vegetable is used to complement a meal such as in salads, stir fries or soups.
Directions: Re-hydrate leaf and wrap food parcels or chop dry leaves and use as a seasoning. Soak in tepid water for a few minutes. Leaves will expand to 5-10 times their dry size.
Wild harvested, air dried to preserve colour and nutrients and tested for contaminants. The white powder you see on the leaf is what is said to give seaweed its natural umami flavour and is not to be confused with mould.
