Melrose Macadamia Oil is expeller-pressed to retain the nutritional benefits from the macadamia nut. Macadamias are native to Australia, originating in the rainforest areas of Northern New South Wales and Southern Queensland.
Melrose Macadamia Oil is light in colour and has a delicately buttery flavour. It has a nutty aroma that enhances both warm and cold dishes.
Best used for all types of cooking including as a dressing.
When to use this oil? Drizzled over salads, when cooking at medium temperatures, as a finishing oil and perfect for desserts.
Smoke point- Medium. Can be heated to approximately 210°C.
